"Reader's Digest" Book of the Road: Motoring Atlas That Opens Out into a Touring Guide
Two books in one, a road atlas and a manual, for cyclists travelling throughout the British Isles and part of the coast of Northern France. Containing 159 colour maps at a scale of 3 miles to the inch, it also features town plans, a gazetteer, motorway strip maps and general advice. This is a hardback book which is unsuitable for carrying on a bike but ideal for pre ride route planning.
For on bike carrying I recommend the Ordnance Survey Travel Map range
